What it is
Jump EHR is a browser-based electronic health record and practice-management system built for UK private GPs. It runs in the browser, so there is nothing to install.
Who it’s for in private general practice
Private GP practices that want the clinical record, booking and billing in one system. It fits practices that are starting up, and practices switching from Semble (there is a structured migration) or from paper notes.
Key capabilities
- SNOMED-coded clinical notes.
- Prescribing checked against dm+d, with private e-prescribing through SignatureRx.
- An AI scribe that drafts consultation notes for the clinician to review.
- Online booking and video consultations.
- Invoicing and payments, working with Stripe and Xero.
- Lab results from laboratories such as TDL.
- Letters to the patient’s NHS GP via MESH.
Pricing
£100 per user per month on the annual plan, or £125 per month on a rolling plan. There is no setup fee, and a free trial is available with no card required.
NHS integrations
Letters and consultation summaries go to the patient’s NHS GP via MESH. Jump EHR does not connect to GP Connect, the Personal Demographics Service (PDS), the Summary Care Record or the NHS Electronic Prescription Service (EPS). Its DCB0129 clinical safety case is pending.
Things to check
- Which laboratories you use, and whether results can come straight into the record.
- How you will handle prescriptions, including any controlled drugs.
- What data you would bring across from your current system, and how the migration works.
- How many users need a licence, and whether the annual or rolling plan suits you.
