Salient Bio is a diagnostics company in London, founded in 2020. It is a trading name of Salient Labs Limited. Its current site describes a focus on microbiome testing and its own diagnostic tests.
It says it works in a UKAS-accredited laboratory under ISO 17025, and that it does not sell directly to consumers through its main site.
Who it's for in private general practice
It may suit practices that want to add microbiome or gut-focused tests to their services. It is not set up as a full routine pathology service in the way a general laboratory is.
